The purpose(s) of the Lay Council is to the following: 1. Deepen the spiritual life of the Laity. 2. Disseminate information. 3. Cultivate denominational loyalty. 4. Expand the denomination through education and evangelism. 5. Promote any other interest of the Kingdom of God.
